I would say there are two different sides of me when it comes to my style.
There’s the dark side, which is the side of me that just wants to wear black, all black, all the time. Or an outfit consisting of any variation of greys, charcoals, deep navys, and dark olives. But usually just head-to-toe black. Sometimes it takes on a more sexy/edgy personality — sheer top over bandeau, leather leggings, and leather-studded booties. Other days, more grungy — oversized, chunky knits, baggy harem pants and black combat boots. I also love the dark androgynous look — lots of blazers, trousers, and tuxedo-style pieces.
Then there is my light side. Feminine and sophisticated, nude and blush tones. Silky, sheer tops. Soft ruffles, lace, and puffed sleeves. Neutral colors.
These two extremes are represented best by my two absolute favorite lines.
My dark representation: Theyskens’ Theory. Really enjoyed the Fall 2012 collection, but the Pre-Fall 2012 line (my favorite look pictured below on the right) epitomizes everything I love and I would wear it all.
My light: The Row Fall 2012 (below, left). By far my favorite collection so far. Perfection, no other words.
I wanted to post every picture from every collection mentioned because I’m seriously obsessed, but I’ll let you look for yourself at Style.com.
