Golden Globes Fashion: Ladies in Red

I absolutely adore newcomer and Best Supporting Actress nominee Lupita Nyong’o, whose performance in ’12 Years a Slave’ was so powerful and moving and absolutely broke my heart. She always looks stunning, and the Golden Globes was no exception (she was made to wear Ralph Lauren!).

I have always been a fan of Amy Adams, who looked just as killer on the red carpet tonight as she did in ‘American Hustle,’ for which she won Best Actress.

I am absolutely in love with Elisabeth Moss’s dark look – the J. Mendel gown is something I probably would have gone for (you know, if I was a movie/TV star).  Such a departure from the standard mermaid, princess gown.  I love the structured, guilded-looking top, and the progressively larger panels of sheer from top to bottom.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are my favorite people ever, and even though Amy is the red gown-exception to this post, I am so happy she won Best Actress in a TV Comedy series. Such inspiring, brilliant women.
